I don't know which thread this goes in. Probably all of them. What a metaphor! Update got deep. Literally the definition of a "Simple Truth"

I just don't know how to gain those qualities.  You can't just go to Walmart and pick them up on sale.

I assume everyone I talk to has the same generic liberal opinions as I do.

The worst thing about you isn't that you are obtuse. It's that you are obtuse in such a stale, boring and predictable way.

Ironically, Antonio's post applies to BTRD even more than it does to Oldiesfreak.

Satire from people who do not at all understand the people they're satirizing is one of the most painful attempts at humour out there. My eyes hurt.

One of the worst 'things' to emerge over the last 10-15 years, is the knee-jerk response to anything vaguely suggestive or sensual and think "sex", or worse of all, to see paedophilia in everything.... everything is "inappropriate".

Clinton- 50%
Romney- 40%

Romney- 43%
Biden- 41%

Romney- 44%
Warren- 36%

If only we had someone to save us from the terrible and overrated Hillary.

It's just name recognition, IceSpear. Once people find out who Mitt Romney is, he'll beat Hillary.

Well there's a Snowstalker post in it, so it's definitely in the running, yes.

It's a little unnerving how effective the Kremlin's propaganda has been in swaying the opinions of impressionable young Americans.

Nobody would be better off if they were a Scientologist

Quoted as a general truth. The few people who manage to join the upper echelons of the organization are of course better off financially.

It wouldn't be the first scam he falls for.

It is not a competition, so no reason to quote my entrance when mentioning the other one.

One is a general truth relevant for hundreds of thousands of people lured into Scientology and the other just for ODF, so they are truths on vastly different levels.

Been staying out of this (only so many times you can call liars out on their lies), but I finally have to say something:

lol demonising introvert young people is so funny lol!!!

Speaking in my official capacity as someone who is painfully introverted in real life (seriously you have no idea), but still manages to somehow avoid these sorts of bitter delusions: you're full of sh*t.

Historically, the people who argue for "states' rights" fit into two main categories:

1) Whichever party lost the last presidential election
2) Racists

I'll agree that states' rights in theory has nothing to do with racism, but its naive to suggest that there is no connection between the two.

Reagan in a real sense ran on being all things to all people within the context of groups whose support he thought would be valuable. One of these groups was racists, yes.

Also, 'Reagan Democrats' were people like David Lynch (the real person David Lynch, not a David Lynch character), not people like Archie Bunker.
