It probably belongs in a palladium mine, or perhaps a mine of aluminum.

Alternatively, consider posting at Good Atlas, where we don't have a bunch of terrible "mines" cluttering up the place.

Sorry if this is misplaced or redundant, but how would one go about that?

You would delete a thread that started a "mine?" Isn't that "fascist?"  The mines here were started by posters, not the management. Mirror, mirror on the wall, which is the "freeist" forum of them all? Smiley

Probably the one that doesn't ban people for having a name that sounds like a sock without actually seeing if the person is really a sock (fivex).

Oh that was about the baby accidentally going out with the bathwater, because the disposable IP source was the platform for socking. It turned out that is was also the platform for a legitimate poster. It has been corrected. It had nothing to do with the poster's name. Thanks.

I don't use a "disposable IP platform"
Was I sharing IP with the socks or something?

Uh, where did he say that? If someone started a mine on Good Atlas, it would just be met with a flurry of dislikes and rightfully so.

No, you weren't.  Torie is somewhat confused about the proper terminology here.

I get how you accidentally got swept up in the massive sock ban, but I don't want to elaborate, so as not to give Atheist any new ideas.  But you don't need to worry about changing your IP or anything like that.  Your account should be fine now.

And this forums insane unhealthy unwarranted pathological hatred of Ronald Reagan continues buy 1980 being the winner. Carter was a failure, as bad (if not worse) than Bush.

No, the free market keeps them away, mod action is unnecessary

Imagine if every time the an American state ended up in economic trouble, all 50 governors had to get together and hash out a solution. This is a farce.

Maybe the whole idea that we can make vast judgments about people's character based on what they watch is dumb or something.

Also the idea that only little girls can watch My Little Pony is sexist, and the idea that adults can't watch and enjoy kids cartoons is the reason most children's television sucks.

Something I've noticed: people generally prefer to respond to idiots making stupid idealogical statements than more well-founded arguments.

Bush also wants to raise the retirement age to 70. He wants to work the worthless peons into an early grave.

The retirement age should be at the very least 70 years in all of the world, perhaps even closer to 75. Soon most people will live into the 100s, some scientists (although I definitely don't buy that) even think that most people in a few decades will start living for 500 years.

I don't see anyone being 500 in a few decades.

Terrible on everything but civil rights, and even the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was largely the product of Everett Dirksen rather than LBJ. He also voted against all civil rights acts prior to 1957 and watered the 1957 act down to almost nothing. One star.

Is there any politician or activist in both political parties right now v that you know of who is not ready for prime time when you hear of them on the Internet,  TV, or hearsay?

Given what's on primetime TV these days, I'd say most of them are ready.

...A lot of folks still aren't too thrilled with the field - Kasich offers a breath of fresh air.

Twenty people running for President and nobody is satisfied?

The Republican primary field is like the menu at The Cheesecake Factory: too many choices that try to please everyone and aren't very good for you.

Massive FF, one of our best posters. If any ban was unjustified, it's this one.
