Even if Simfan were otherwise so inclined (and he's clearly not), he's too busy with college and his life to waste time screwing around with socks - unlike certain folks who appear not to have much a life at all, and are left only with socking to give it any meaning to them it seems.

I didn't see any evidence that Simfan has made any additional socks (besides the ones we already know about from years ago) here on the Atlas forum.  Whether he made any socks on AAD, I have no idea.  I'm not a mod there.  He's obviously not going to be banned on this forum for making AAD socks.

If you have evidence that he made socks *here*, on Atlas, then feel free to share it with us.

Which post are you talking about?  BK's post about RickRoll?  You're saying that because someone using RickRoll's email wrote about Anwar Awlaki somewhere else on the internet, he must be Simfan?  Please explain the logic of that.  And Simfan registered on the forum in 2011.  Why the heck would he care about Update in 2010, when RickRoll was here?

In short, nothing is happening except that people on the Other Site have gotten themselves into a fever dream that I am a diabolical mastermind whose whole posting history has been vast extended ruse going back before I even registered. I tried to explain things but I think it's best to step back while people come to understand how absurd the claims they are making are, because people right now are frantically drawing "connections" that may look convincing now but in context are clearly baseless.

In a nutshell, very damning evidence that he had a sock on AAD surfaced, including a time when the sock replied to a comment clearly aimed at Simfan and actually referred to himself (imagine if I had a sock, and answered a question aimed at that sock while making a reference to "BRTD" in the same post.) It was later deleted but preserved. Bacon King compiled tons of other evidence. This wouldn't be a huge deal of course since AAD doesn't ban socks except that: 1-the sock is a continuation of a poster here, meaning the sock also existed here and 2-the sock was responsible for an extremely creepy action. So bad that it was deleted by the owner. Now Morden insists the evidence isn't enough to ban him here, which is fun, sock witch hunts here are far worse than the socks themselves (see JoMCaR), but we can still express our opinions.

tl;dr: Simfan may or may not have traveled and/or paid a PI to capture video of another poster. This remains to be proven conclusively but there are multiple incidents of circumstantial evidence from before this incident that suggested the account that posted the video is a sock of his.
