This thread will serve as my office during my tenure as Governor of the Mideast.

With the ascension of Governor TJ to the Atlasia Supreme Court, pursuant to the Mideast Constitution, I have sworn in as Governor of the Mideast. Governor TJ has been a great leader for the Mideast and I wish him the best of luck in future endeavors.

I am committed to continue working to improve the Mideast as we close out this session. Our primary objectives will be to finish up on all remaining legislation and complete a major update to the Mideast Wiki page. Additionally, I have several constitutional reforms that will be rolled out soon.

As always, I am welcome to any suggestions or comments on how I can better serve this region. Together, we will build a stronger and stabler Mideast.

As designated to me by the Mideast Constitution, I hereby appoint TDAS04 to the position of Lt. Governor. I now direct Speaker Spiral to open a confirmation hearing for the Lt. Governor-appointee.

Statement from the Governor's Office
The Governor and Lt. Governor would like to extend their congratulations to New Canadaland for being elected Mideast Speaker.

Despite recent allegations that have been made against the Governor, this administration will continue to focus on the Mideast. Earlier today, legislation was introduced by the Governor to expand high speed rail in the Mideast. The Governor is also working with key Mideasterners, including Senator Windjammer and Lt. Governor TDAS04, to bring positive reforms to the Mideast Constitution.

The leave of Gov. Tmthforu94 is unfortunate. But I'm certain that our region continues to remain in good hands. I wish the new governor TDAS04 good luck.

If tmthforu94 still wants to introduce his planned constitutional changes, he can have them sent to TDAS04 or me myself to look at.

What a pity that so minor an issue led to the loss of a capable, experience public servant.
