John Palmer (National Democratic) I suppose.

If choosing between the Bills, without hindsight I would choose McKinley, with hindsight I would choose Bryan. By 1900 after McKinley had revealed himself to be an imperialist warmongering pig I would have voted for Bryan in their rematch.
