Tomatoes. I eat tomato sauce and relish and I boil it for pasta sauce, but actual solid tomatoes really gross me out. I tend to dislike a lot of vegetables, but most of them I can force down if I have to but I draw the line at tomato.

I love Chinese and Vietnamese foods, but I tend to dislike anything with really strong ginger or lemongrass in it. I hate mayonnaise (including Japanese mayonnaise - I love sushi but I only order it where I'm certain not to get mayonnaise in it). I don't like pasta in any kind of creamy sauce. I really like both fresh salmon in sashimi/sushi, and lox, but I don't like cooked salmon.

I also don't really like cake.

Same here.  I also don't like most Chinese food (authentic or Americanized.)

I can't stand the taste or smell of chocolate, or almonds.  Disgusting.

Also raw onions. Not a big cole slaw fan either.

Onions are one of the best foods.  They make everything better.

I think generally I like strong flavored foods...but not spicy.  I can't stand the heat.  Sad I've eaten moderately spicy food that burned so bad that it nearly made me catatonic and cry like a baby.  I excuse myself by assuming I have sensitive tastebuds.

So instead I like pungeant cheese and onions and garlic.

Another delicious dish: wilted spinach with a bacon/onion/raspberry vinegarette.

Coffee and white chocolate go together so well.  Super creamy cut by smoky bitterness...

Alright, I was willing to look past the communism stuff, but you just earned yourself a spot in a Hubert Humphrey camp with that.

Olives, liver, catfish, any sort of "double death by chocolate"dessert are all horrid, unbearable things. I wouldn't say that I can't stand watermelon, but it's not at all good either, and people act like it's something amazing.

I absolutely despise garlic, I cannot eat anything with even only a small bit of garlic in it..
I also only like bacon if it has like 0% fat, otherwise it's an absolute no-go
I don't like pork (love turkey, chicken or beef though), I just don't like the taste of it...

There are people who dislike White Chocolate? Human beings baffle me.

Anyway, for my part, I don't like coffee, carrots, tomatoes, melon, pears, parsnips and sweet potatoes

Bacon. I also don't drink, so I guess I'd also say any alcoholic drink.

Miles, how are you going to climb your way up the Good Ol' Boy ladder in LA/NC/DC if you won't eat bacon or drink bourbon? You'd basically be unable to eat or drink anything in Haley Barbour's house at that point.

Ranch dressing/artichoke dip/onion dip - why would anyone do that?

Anything that is overly salty and bitter or has a fishy flavor.

You've spoken of Scandinavian cuisine before with some hint of fondness, so this is surprising.

I generally annoy everyone at Christmas as I can't stand smoked salmon, foie gras, oyster, and dark chocolate. As I also hate almost every alcoholic beverages beside cider, it always bothered me when someone gives me liqueur-filled chocolates.

Also I don't like bacon, salted butter (not a true Breton), chocolate icecream (even worst than dark chocolate), pistachios, and cooked endives (while being a huge fan of raw endives).

But topping all of these: andouillette, an horrible French speciality that literally smells and tastes like sh*t.

This thread is very perplexing to me:

Olives and most fish.  Anything that is overly salty and bitter or has a fishy flavor.

I feel like I have a stronger tolerance for saltiness than others, but eating raw olives still gives you a nice zing to it. The best fish dishes I've had - Chinese ones, steamed or breaded - show off gleaming white flesh and has a very clean taste.

My family can't get enough of sweet potato fries (the ones with chipotle mayo), and I don't mind it either.

Eggs, sushi, most Chinese food (with the obvious exception of the chicken dishes that are slathered with honey or some other sauce, but that almost doesn't count as Chinese food), anything with beans

People already commented on the Chinese food, but I have a real thing for hard-boiled eggs (especially the tea eggs my mom made) and certain types of sushi, like this amberjack and sea urchin sushi I had which melts on your mouth. Chili's obviously a dish with beans that has its distinctive taste.

I also quite dislike raw tomatoes, though I like them fine cooked.

Put it as a salad garnish and drizzle some olive oil!

Grits - I will eat oatmeal for breakfast, thank you very much.

It's a bit mealy, but it better mixes with savoury ingredients than porridges.

I also dislike zucchini ..coffee [don't drink for religious reasons, but I dislike the smell], finely sliced onions...
Grilled zucchini is a much better topping for sandwiches than the wilted iceberg lettuce most people see. I'll leave out coffee, but sauteed onions is one of the easiest ways to spice up a meat dish.

This, plus parsnips, brussel sprouts, scotch eggs and watermelon.
Brussels sprouts help mediate a salty slab of meat, I've found that parsnips painlessly adds to pasta carbonara and cold watermelon in 40C weather is something else.

But topping all of these: andouillette, an horrible French speciality that literally smells and tastes like sh*t.

This is totally ridiculous. Andouillette, served on a bun with mustard, is one of the savouriest, sassiest things you can be served. It's not even salty as it is pungent. But, between my love of intestines, tripe and organ food, I've gotten a reputation from some people.

I do have faith that, even if I dislike a food product the first time, there's some variation on it which will taste much better. The only two things that come to mind are peanut butter (thick pap that will turn you hoarse) and Chinese dates (they have large stones in the middle and it makes me want to throw up).
EDIT: I guess I do feel strongly about one thing: sugary cereal. You want to talk about American imperialism? Look at how frosted flakes, marshmallows and other exotic shapes have indoctrinated a whole generation of children into eating nothing but a chimeric breakfast. Anything with more sugar than Raisin-Bran (which has a lot!) should be taken off market.
