Unelected power is power that is held by individuals rather than by elected officials. How is that anti-American? No matter how many billions there are in your many bank accounts, you still only have one vote, so I'm not sure how this is anti-democratic.

So you're for banning inheritance and gifts?

I wouldn't give my kids much money either ($10 million sounds about right - enough to start a business and invest), but if that situation should ever arise, it's my call to make. Not the government's. I made the money, not the government. I'll spend it, not the government. They already taxed me on it enough, I'm sure.
