OOC:This is a governmental themed timeline talking about policies, Congress, and everything in between. If this isn't your cup of tea, that's fine. I will focus somewhat on elections and election nights, but I will be focusing more on administrations and so forth. Without further ado, I present The Likely Suspects.

The Likely Suspects

Ben Carson's bold words rung out of Detroit in June, "After last nights defeats for our campaign, I realize that we can't win, that is why I now endorse Jeb Bush for President of the United States".
The Governor's top competitor just endorsed him and now he technically does have enough delegates for the Republican Nomination and it looks like he will challenge Democrat, Hillary Clinton for the presidency.

2016: Hillary Clinton vs. Jeb Bush

Here is the current map of the Republican and Democratic primary before going into their conventions -

Hillary Clinton- 3,127 Delegates
Bernie Sanders- 2,214 Delegates

Jeb Bush- 1,302 Delegates
Donald Trump- 463 Delegates
Scott Walker- 232 Delegates
Ben Carson- 229 Delegates
Mike Huckabee- 125 Delegates
Rand Paul- 76 Delegates
Ted Cruz- 44 Delegates

Chapter Two, Part One: Conventional Conventions

Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio - July 18 - 21

Night One: Introducing Young America

Governor John Kasich, of Ohio

"(APPLAUSE)Thank you, thank you all for being here and thank for having me here! It's just fantastic to see all of you here, including all those young people here tonight, and not just my kids.(LAUGHS)But I am excited to see this new generation of American Conservatism here, because America is always about new ideas and new noble principles. For we are at a juncture in America, are we to go towards a path of failed policies that only divide us, or are we to bring a worthy conservative doctrine to America that brings Americans with one an other. I believe that this great Republican Party can and will bring this to America. Thank you, and goodnight."(CHEERS)

Night Two: Attack Dogs

Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Representative from Washington

What a warm and fantastic welcome! Most of you know that I came from a very liberal state, now while I love representing the great people of Washington, I think many of them have been bamboozled by the far-left into thinking that by making Americans think they are entitled to staying on these government sponsored throwback programs. Washington and America need to understand that the US doesn't need more bloated government programs that hurt Americans just trying to get a job. This is what we as Republicans have fought for, and will continue to fight for.
Thank you all and may God Bless America!

Ben Sasse, Senator from Nebraska

Hello Ohio! First off, a question - Can America ever be improved? (CHANTS OF YES)Well for most of you out there, that's a yes. But many in Congress and many across the country don't see it that way. Many believe that Americans need to all be given free welfare, free healthcare, and for all Americans to be involved in social experiments that are bound to fail. Well those people are wrong, we have enough of 8 years of Washington dysfunction under socialists like President Obama! I know this because I lived it. I was born in Plainview, Nebraska, a town of about 1,000 people, I didn't grow up wealthy in a big suburban palace like Hillary Clinton, no. I graduated from Fremont High School and then was accepted to Harvard University, I had to work my way through it and nothing was for certain. I had to make my own American dream, not take others. I earned my right to speak about the American dream tonight, I earned it because I worked for it. That's more then we can say for Hillary Clinton... Thank you all, and goodnight!

Night Three: Freedoms

Tom Cotton, Senator from Arkansas

Ladies and Gentlemen, Ohioans and Americans, I have come to talk to you about one true American issue. Freedom. Freedom apparently has and is becoming a "controversial" issue, and I want to tell you that freedom isn't an issue, it's a right! Freedom is about knowing that every day you wake up knowing that you are protected by the greatest military the world has ever seen. Freedom is about knowing that you and your children have the right to life. And freedom is about knowing that your leaders will not threaten your life for their apologist ideals, and that is exactly what President Obama did to the American people in the Terrorist Country of Iran.

Night Four: Family Values

13:44 Hours. Susana Martinez is called personally by Governor Bush

Governor Susana Martinez of New Mexico

Republicans of America! I have an announcement to make! I have just gotten off the phone with Governor Bush, he has just invited me to join him on his ticket for the Republican nomination for President of The United States! (CHEERS) I am so proud to represent all of you and hopefully all of America after this election is over, because we are in a lot of trouble here! When we have real unemployment over 10%, when we have Americans having to come here under unsafe conditions just to live here, and when we have a deficit that is out of control and all the Democrats want to do is spend it, that's when I draw the line. We need a President Jeb because he will draw the line with the Democrats in Washington and he will protect the interests of small businesses and stop this gargantuan spending we have here. Thank you, and let's win this November!

George Prescott Bush, Texas Land Commissioner

I first want to thank you all for being here for my dad, now let me talk a little bit about my dad. You all know him as Jeb or Governor, I know him as Pop or Dad. You all know him as Lawmaker and Floridian, I know him as Teacher and Nurturer. You know him as Conservative and American, I know him as Father and Friend. Now I present to you the man of the hour, my father and friend and your next president... Governor Jeb Bush!

Governor Jeb Bush of Florida

Isn't George Great? I couldn't have asked for a better introduction, and thank you George. But for those that don't know, I was just nominated by this party for President of The United States! (CHEERS)This party has such a history, from our first who brought us through the worst war America ever saw, to our most recent President who I know very well in fact(LAUGHS)All Republican Presidents are the right men at the right times and I intend on being the right man and doing the right things. No matter that the Democrats think that America will crumble and fall, I believe and I know that we can restore America's greatness. That starts with creating a strong economy, an American energy policy that makes us rely less on others and more on Americans, less of this crushing, a president who puts America's working people and job-creators first, and a president that knows the act of love that many people entering this country do and will protect the rights of those that do that by making it more accessible to enter it. I believe that I can and will accomplish this American Dream for all of America. Thank you, and God Bless The United States of America!

OOC: Whoo that was a hardship, sorry for any grammar mistakes or any things these people wouldn't actually say. Anyways, thanks for reading.
