5 months ago I started a poll about the video to Chandelier, asking if you'd have let your child dance in that clip.

Some days ago Sia released the video to her new single Elastic Heart, where 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler (the same girl from the Chandelier clip) and 28-year-old Shia LaBeouf are dancing together in a cage:

By doing so, she aroused much criticism, as many people think the director went beyond what is decent. Sia has already apologized, saying her "intention was to create some emotional content, not to upset anybody": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25L_CL6Fqyk

Both Maddie and LaBeouf wish not to comment on the criticism.

This was a beautiful video, even moreso after learning the concept and story behind it. I'm actually slightly disappointed that Sia would cave and issue an apology.

I saw this the other day. It's refreshing to see that some people are actually still making music videos worth watching. Good song too.

Also there is literally nothing "indecent" about it. Give me a break.

One of the worst 'things' to emerge over the last 10-15 years, is the knee-jerk response to anything vaguely suggestive or sensual and thing "sex", or worse of all, to see paedophilia in everything.... everything is "inappropriate". I think it's a great video and nothing at all wrong in it.
