Bushie, what about our suggestion to start ubering?

Ride-sharing? You guys are just trying to trick him into an obvious scam!!!

He's going to an archaic job fair and getting a real opportunity!

I dunno if uber would be a good fit for Bushie. He obviously wasn't cool with his co-workers smoking reefer. How would he handle the late night drunk crowd?

By not working late nights on weekends?

The long car ride could also be a great platform to sell Ameriscam.

And if he's lucky, he might pick up a family with children, giving him an opportunity for a quick "loving on" as he drives them to their destination.

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced an Uber Season would really be great for the series as a way to introduce more locations and characters.

Which isn't all the time in Oklahoma. Yes, he has some issues driving in bad weather. That's the beauty of Uber ... there's no time clock. You earn what you put into it. May not be the best solution, but it's an option to get him through a drought or prevent him from taking the first insta-job that comes along.

Cab driver service where you use your own car.

Bushie should take it to it, it's a similar "be your own boss" setup of Ameriplan/Kirby only it's a product people buy and not a scam.

When it comes to Our Dear Friend, thinking that will work is absurd.

Bushie, you're the one supposed to be serving God. You're treating it the other way around.

"Bushie needs a job. Chop, chop, Lord."
"Oh, Jesus, I'm getting a little fat. How about you get off your butt and do a miracle for me?"
"Thanks for being a dear, King of Kings. You know I could have never done it without you! It's so hard to find good help these days!"

Have you ever seen the Betty Bowers videos? Bushie is like a male version of her. Sadly, she is a parody whereas he is not.

unfortunately without facial book access there's no way of knowing if the nap was a full six hours, or only four.

He is probably happy he doesn't have work interfering with napping

I've been job searching most of the day and doing a few other things in between the job search 'episodes'.  I haven't been napping today.  To be honest, though, I would rather have been working, but I didn't get that choice.

I love when I go away for a while, I come back and there is always a new plot in Update. The writers seem to have their hands busy in 2015!

Wouldn't Uber-ing give him an excuse (in his mind) to buy a new car? Might want to proceed with caution.

Good point.  Anyway, I browsed the website that J-Mann provided, but I think I'll pass on this possibility.  I appreciate the thought, but I'll just stick with what I know best - CAD.  I've now got three applications in the cooker plus a job fair, archaic or not, next Thursday.  Plus, I've got a bunch of men looking down here in Oklahoma City.

You all might, I repeat might, be proud of me:  My church friend (the one I went bowling with Thanksgiving weekend), knows I am looking for a job, so he sent me a Facebook post for an AT&T call center job fair this Saturday in NW Oklahoma City.  I laughed and moved on back to my CAD searching.  I gave it no consideration whatsoever.  I don't even remember the address except the street it was on.  I thank him for thinking of me, but I am done with call centers.

Brilliant setup. I think I know where this is going.

Not on Uber specifically, but glad to see that my advice about keeping your options open and looking into more than just CADD was swiftly ignored...
