Have you shared the company name with Smash and JMann are you going in this one blind with no research?

Nope, I haven't seen anything on this.

Bushie is the $30,000 a salary??  A draw?  Does the $30k base even exist?  What kind of sales?

The $30,000 is a base salary.  I will be selling credit card machines to small and medium sized businesses in the Tulsa metro.

Are you selling the machines or the processing service behind the machines?

The machines themselves.

What kind of machines are they? Are they actually something innovative people would buy in the year 2015 like this?

Or are you looking for suckers to buy this?

Both, but mostly the former.

I'm hearing all of what you are saying... and I'm letting it go out the other ear.  I don't need negativity and I am not going to listen to negativity.  King is being purely negative.  He probably doesn't even want me to succeed here.  He wants to say "I told you so".  He thinks he absolutely knows what's going to happen in the future.  He thinks I don't know anything.

You're right. I don't want you to succeed there because I want you to have money in your bank account.

Seriously, who gives two craps if you succeed at selling credit card machines? Literally nobody will care if you succeed at this. Not your parents, not you. It's completely worthless waste of time.

You're right nobody will care about the credit card machines themselves or that I sold them.  They will care, however, that I finally found something I'm good at and that I can enjoy.  Besides, I am not intending this as a permanent job.  I'm only intending this as a filler until I get a CAD job which is what I really want.  I just need some income in the meantime.  I know it will be difficult, and I'm mature enough to not expect dollar bills to fall from the ceiling.  It will take hard work, but I still believe I can make it work.  My boss will be there to show me the ropes.  Plus, the way I see it, since this is a filler job, if I don't succeed at it and I don't make a dime, then I haven't really lost anything.  I do believe in the $30K Base Salary, though, and I believe I can make a good amount of money here.

Bushie why do you refuse to take a retail job, or an uber job, or a pizza delivery job as a filler job? Why are you only willing to take obvious scam jobs as filler jobs?

Except, Bushie, you are not good at sales, you never have been, and it is bewildering to me how you feel falling back into this trap over and over again.

I get it, you need cash, and sales jobs hire you because they're turn and burn operations. But we all know you are weak at that kind of job. You don't have the personality to do it and you have failed at each and every sales job you'd had. That's OK. I wouldn't succeed either, but I also haven't tried to go into sales.

When those of us are telling you not to do it, it's not because we want to see you fail. It's because we want to see you succeed more than you want to see yourself succeed. You and I both know how this will end. But you're too prideful to admit it to yourself. Pride will always be one of your downfalls.

A quick search reveals that a credit card reader can be purchased on Amazon for as little as $9.88: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=credit+card+reader.

Why would someone need to pay you $30K per year to sell them to small and medium businesses in Tulsa?

Uber Driver Nick: popular with friends and family, respected in community, sought out by people with mobile apps
Average Income: $30-90k a year

Credit Card Machine Salesman Larry: loathed by his friends and family, disrespected by strangers, told to stay away with signs of "no solicitation"
Average Income: $0 a year after scams

Remember, kids, nobody likes a Credit Card Machine Salesman Larry! Always be an Uber Driver Nick in everything you do if you want to succeed!

Anyone want to give me odds that this isn't a "base salary"?

I'd be shocked if this business's entire inventory is worth $30,000.

Wait, you're selling PDQ machines now? That's insane. I work in retail at the moment: every shop that needs one has one already (and has done for ages now. Literally ages. Eons) and if one breaks for whatever reason, they'll get a replacement from whoever provided them with the original machine. They will not buy them from door-to-door or telephone salesmen. Abort, abort, abort, abort!

Well, yeah. No one will be buying those things as they have them already.

I'm not sure there's even a market for $30,000 worth of these things in Tulsa. And considering how inexpensive and easy to use they are, pretty much everyone who needs one probably has one by now.

I think the fact Bushie hasn't sent this to myself or J-Mann is proof he knows it is a scam.

Sorry for the delay, but I just sent the name of the company to Smash and J-Mann for their review.  I've got nothing to hide here.
