What's the greatest amount of alcohol you've consumed in a 24 hour period?

I was just reading about how Wade Boggs (allegedly) drank 100+ beers on one cross-country flight back during his baseball career and it got me thinking about the alcoholics over here on the af (just kidding)

For me, It's one beer. Not many drinking opportunities for me.

There was one time in college where I drank 22 beers and likely a shot or two in a single night. There may have been a time where I consumed a greater amount of alcohol, but not a greater volume. What a dumb thing to do, by the way.

I drank like half a bottle of bourbon in college. Then at a party people kept handing me beers and bottles of hard cider. Ended up throwing up and ultimately transported to the hospital for ethanol poisoning.

For me, I consumed half a bottle of Jim Beam Black label, and about 13 beers or so, in a 5 or 6 hour period. Woke up with a huge headache, but not too much else, so a little over 20 "drinks" or so. (Insert Irish-American stereotypes here ______ )

I am a reformed heavy drinker (or 'recovering alcoholic') and have had over 20 'standard drinks' on many occasions.  For example this can be accomplished by drinking 15 beers, or drinking 12 beers and a bottle of wine (both things that would have been regular occurrences).  It's possible and likely that I've had higher than 25, while simultaneously using MDMA.  I can't stress enough how strongly I recommend against this sort of activity and can only be thankful that I did not do any serious long-term damage to myself.

(I am not abstinent, and usually have a beer or a glass of wine with dinner.  In social settings, I rarely go past three.  Though I continue to enjoy the taste and mild effects of alcohol, I simply can't risk having a hangover - a truly despised feeling that I finally couldn't take a single second more of when I managed to stop.)

The equivalent of like 25 drinks.  That was huge awesome semester party at the studentenheim (tender will know what I'm talking about) from 9pm-4am then drinking all day from 11am to well past 9pm.

You know it's been a bad time for your liver when it takes 2 days to recover from a 30 hour binge.

Dunno, probably about 10 if you game the time period right.

I still drink more than I should, but that's more a matter of having 1-3 drinks most days; binging just does not appeal at all (not that it ever really did in the first place).

Extraordinary and really obscene amounts.   My waistline, liver and brain thank me everyday that I hung up my mug. Lucky to be alive with how much I used to put back in a given sitting.  To you younger folks, be careful you dont develop a dependency. Alcohol withdrawal, which I stupidly and stubbornly experienced countless times, is a horror.
