Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't El Paso pretty safely GOP? I'm pretty sure there is better opposition to Bennet than this guy. We'll see though.

^ Yeah, Hick was the best performing Democrat there last year and he lost it 61/34.

Really, if this guy is looking to move up, challenging Lamborn might be a better route.

Not sure a "Christian Constitutional Conservative" (http://www.electdarrylglenn.com) is exactly the type of '16 nominee we need in Colorado.

Hoping that Mike Coffman throws his hat in the ring.

Isn't Coffman controversial himself? Something about a birther comment in 2012? I would prefer someone who does not make comments such as that.

Every Colorado Republican in the past five years has done something to make themselves controversial.

And this guy won't get very far in the primary, sadly.

Every Colorado Republican in the past five years has done something to make themselves controversial.

And this guy won't get very far in the primary, sadly.

Perhaps his wife could do better? She got over 50% of the vote for AG last November and I believe got more votes overall than Hickenlooper. And she's probably free of any birthed taint.

Yes he did, though he did survive by a stronger than expected margin in 2014.
