She's extremely mediocre (ahead in the polls now, but I guess she'll drop once the campaign starts), but likely has the luck that she faces off against the even more mediocre Romney and Bush.

Both. She is not a guaranteed win ("teh polls! muh polls! means nothing), nor is she vulnerable to any primary challenger.

I think she's vastly underrated, especially among the left here. Her almost unanimous favourability among the general Democratic electorate has not quite translated into support here.

In the forum, underrated... severely. But she's still overrated by the public at-large... she's certainly a lot stronger than she was in 2007, but that breeds other issues. As she knows, it's hard to be the front-runner from year dot and maintain that for months.

I don't know that they've ever been 'virtually nonexistent.'  A minority against Obama supporters in 2008, yes, but definitely existent.
