I accept the nomination with a glad heart. I have always believed in the law, as the first glamorizer of philosophy, of its wisdom and integrity, and its ability to do equal justice and secure the blessings of liberty for our posterity. I hope, in my small way, to do that. I hope to be fair and knowledgeable, and settle disputes fairly. If confirmed, I will try my hardest to be all you expect of me. Thank you.

Congrats, migrendal!

Does this mean you are dropping out of the Senate race?  Do you need to be confirmed somehow first?

Shouldn't it have to be confirmed by the senate, or do we not do that in the fantasy state?

I will have to be advised of procedure, but if I require a Senate confirmation, I will leave the race.

It's not "Mr."......it's simply "Chief Justice."

There is no senate, and there is no constitution, so until the end of the term I suggest migrendel is our chief justice pro tempore, to be evaluated a the end of the term. If he is evaluated positively, then the constitutional rules governing the supreme court should come into effect.

I second that. Lets just elect the senators first before we appoint anyone Chief Justice.

The elections are just next week. Lets not haste the process and do it right.

I support the nomination of migrendal to Chief Justice, but I think he should have to be approved by the Senate, if only to give the Senate something to do.
And another issue to campaign on.

OK, congratulations Migrendel. What does the Chief Justice do? I am guessing it isn't the same as game moderator? (This was suggested earlier though)
