I know, the poll is simple, but in your replies you can be as detailed as you want.

From the Third Way-Cintonian philosophy to more of a mix of libertarian and progressive ideals. So basically a moderate hero to a liberaltarian.

Not sure it was the Atlas itself that changed my ideology, but I was a Ron Paul libertarian when I joined and became a liberal Democrat regarding economics after getting active on the forum.

Mixed. I've swung left on pensions because of how poor a job people do of saving. I've also swung left on taxes primarily because the forum left has done a good job of convincing me.

On the other hand I've swung pretty hard to the right on a number of things simply because the left's logic on the issue has been so bloody awful (corporate personhood comes to mind). Overall its evened out and I'm economically where I was when I first started posting here.

I've shifted somewhat to the left economically since first joining, though I'm not sure how much the shift is due to the forum.  I had already been moving left; I was somewhat of an economic conservative when I was younger, but was pretty moderate when I joined the Atlas Forum, and I'm center-left economically now.

Slightly to the left overall, but my views regarding tariff's definitely shifted.

I've become much more of a Marxist, of course.

But really not much of a change.

I feel like I've become more of an economic pragmatist because of Atlas, but i've also become more opposed to unions.

I am honestly unsure. My ideology is further to the left than when I arrived, back when I was a social democrat, but I've also taken positions on several economic issues that are further to the right than some red, green, and orange avatar folk here. It's tempting to actually repeat Maxwell's post on becoming more pragmatic.

No/little change, but it's certainly made me feel more right-wing in comparison.

I feel the same in some respects. I know a lot of liberals and social democrats IRL, but almost nobody on the far-left.

Atlas didn't change how I felt, working in fast food for five years did.

Yes, I would say it has refined the fuzzy edges of it, but I haven't lost the "emotional basis" of being left-wing - I feel inequality is a gross state the world can be in, and hope that wealth can be shared throughout it.

I technically have moved around on various "issues". I stopped defending means-testing. I became more cynical of consumption taxes. I stopped entertaining protectionism. I became more enthusiastic about a basic income. But that doesn't mean I ideologically shifted, I just felt myself become more aware. I also don't know whether it was Atlas or uni or work or anything else.

Far more right-wing, though that has as much to do with living in San Francisco and Berkeley as it has to do with posting on here.
