What is a "testing the waters committee"?  Somewhere between an exploratory committee and a PAC?  I'll have to get back to you on that.

I think a "testing the waters committee" as he calls it something like the quasi-exploratory committee that Gingrich set up for himself in 2011…which I think was basically an exploratory committee in all but name.  It's different from a regular exploratory committee in terms of having different reporting requirements, and oddly gets set up with the IRS rather than the FEC.

I think he'll realize he's too gay seeming to move to the next step of having an exploratory committee.

Wasn't he caught on video/audio conspiring with John Kerry? He can't make it through a primary.

Seems like SUCH a long shot. If he really fancies his chances of becoming president, why didn't he run in 2012 where everybody had a shot? In 2016 his chances are close to zero.

Lindsay Graham has no Charisma and he won't even win the primaries due to the Tea Party.

He was ? I do have a lot of respect for Senator Graham but we need young fresh blood and Graham is not exactly a young hip guy.

I can't bear the thought of him coming anywhere close to the White House.

Lindsey Graham voted for a bill amendment that said "Climate Change is Real and Humans are significantly contributing to it" per ThinkProgress, the only 2016 GOP contender to do so.

He ain't running (seriously).

It's been several days now, and I've seen no reporting on what this committee is called, nor any news about a website.  Did Graham just make an off-the-cuff remark, and he hasn't actually established this committee yet (if he ever will)?

Not that I would vote for him, but that made me respect him a bit more.

No chance of winning, but I like the idea as a theoretical. The center-right will rise again!

I hope he runs, he'd be my second choice behind Jeb.  If he could make a strong elect-ability argument I'd be inclined to support him over Jeb even so.

People are enthusiastic about him around here? WTF?

You might be disappointed, because he's essentially abandoned that stance since 2010.

*bump*

Looks like Graham was talking about an exploratory committee (which is just officially being launched now), but got the legal definitions wrong or something:

Don't worry, he's not a lawyer.
