Who will win this season's Super Bowl?

It should be a classic. I'm obviously upset it won't be a chance for revenge on the tenth anniversary of Patriots vs. Eagles.

Despite my sad pattern since Super Bowl XLIV, I think I'll go two in a row: Seattle will win it in Glendale.

I don't mind the Pats for a Boston team, but I hate seeing that city win. But I love Russell Wilson and beyond respect Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch even though I hate the Seahawks. I'm going with Seattle even though they beat GB.

It all depends on which Seattle team shows up.  If it's the team that played today, they'll have trouble.  If it's the team that played the second half of the season, they stand a chance.  That said, I think this is Tom Brady's year.  I like New England 27-20

Patriots. Sherman doesn't handle slot receivers well.

It will be close, but I think Tom Brady will make 1 more big play than Russell Wilson. Subject to change, my prediction is:

Patriots: 24
Seahawks: 21

I'll go with the Patriots since they have a better track record at the SuperBowl, and the Patriots QB is a lot cuter. Tongue

The second part of your sentence makes more sense.  The Pats havent won in a decade.  The Seahawks are the defending champions.  It should be an interesting game. Even though Seahawks shouldnt really be there, they match up much better than the Packers would have.

wow, looks like the line is hovering around pick 'em.  I'd be very happy to take Seattle at any number til 3.

I think the line opened at 2.5 while Pats game wasnt even over yet and must have dropped.  Ive watched the Colts a lot this year and they were not a good team, so I think people are overreacting a bit to the huge win.    Congrats to the Pats though because they got me back in the black with their cover. It was nice to root for Revis again, if ever so briefly.

Seahawks go back to back 30-23 in two Overtimes (Yes, I think Russell Wilson is more clutch than Tom Brady)

30-23 is an impossible score for a game that ends in overtime.

It's strength-on-strength like it was last year.

Seattle surprised me by how inept they were in the first half yesterday. Didn't get a first down or a completion until a few minutes before halftime and essentially spotted the Packers a 16-0 lead. They roared back, but they can't do that in the S.B.

The Colts are garbage against the Patriots, that's clear. They can't even match up against them. Colts vs. Patriots is like a mismatch on video game football.

I think the Seahawks have too much heart. They'll get the win 35-31 or so. If they can pressure Brady, a little bit more than that.

Is "Amount of Heart" now an official stat? When did Elias start keeping track of that one?

I'm going with my Patriots. I was 9 the last time they won the Super Bowl, and ten years is long enough!

Don't know really who wins this, but probably the Pats.

Should be an exciting game.

The Seahawks vs. Packers game yesterday was one of the most amazing I've ever seen in recent years. That Lynch-dive through 10 Packers players or so was already pretty good and the final 3 minutes of the 4th quarter after that onside kick were just Shocked

It was somehow bad to see the Packers lose this, after being the better team for 85% of the game, but they seemed to get too overconfident and thought they already won it ... and then BOOM !

Also funny that Wilson had 4 interceptions (each when throwing to Kearse), with Kearse then scoring the winning TD (once again after a pass from Wilson) ... Tongue
