LOL, "Keystone Jobs Bill" - Classic!

Is the robot voice supposed to make Midwesterners fear unemployment due to automation? Come to the GOP!

Also, seriously considering wearing bread bags on my sneakers tomorrow since I had to wash sneakers two days in a row now due to mud.

At least she mentioned Nigeria.

This response reminds me of the GOP SOTU response last year. She's so robotic. She is not smooth and convincing unlike the stud they call Obama.

Ernst's State of the Union response begins with "Rather than respond to a speech...". Accurately sums up all State of the Union responses in a nutshell.

Did she just ask if Obama will block good American jobs?  As opposed to bad American jobs?  What a joke...

Eh, it wasn't extraordinary, but I don't think she Jindal-ed it. Her delivery was similar to Cathy McMorris-Rodgers' speech last year.

Not once, but twice in that short speech Ernst said it was her priority to repeal Obamacare. Yet another hilariously flopped attempt by Republicans to attack the President.

We're only getting started though! Part II is Ted Cruz's response. Tongue

To be fair I think that's a side affect of all responses to the SOTU. Its just reading a teleprompter of an a planned speech. She did an alright job, better than last years imo.

Obama's talking about climate change right now. I agree with him completely, and I'm tired of the anti-science idiots
Trust me, the "idiots" are tired of you too...

No offense but why do you support the GOP? If you genuinely like Obama this much I see little reason for you to be a Republican.

But is it really that hard to find a Republican that can read from a teleprompter without reading it like a robot?

Out of morbid curiosity, does anyone know where I can watch Ted Cruz's response?

You're right. SOTU responses will never be amazing because of the reasons you've stated. Actually Ernst did slightly better than I thought she would. At least she never talked about impeaching Obama.

Obama's speech was Okay, and Ernst's okay. She should have been more tough if it's a rebuttal.

While you're probably joking, that was never going to happen in this speech...

I'm a Republican because a majority of my views align with the GOP, but I'm not afraid to tell someone from the opposite party that he is doing a good job when he is actually doing a good job. Obama is handling his situation very well. Also Obama is a great speaker, which is IMO the most important part of being president.
