Kathrin Örtel who succeeded Bachmann already gave up. Seems like she didn't really want to deal with the risks and threats that come with leading an organization like PEGIDA. Wise choice.

Karthrin Oertel and a few other people who left Pegida yesterday are planning to launch their own movement and hold demonstrations in Dresden every monday. The remaining rump Pegida is intending to continue with its activities as well.

So we will soon see not one but two competing anti-Islam movements marching on the streets of Dresden!

People's Front of Judea/Judean People's Front, anyone?

Maybe Lutz Bachmann can now start a new career as a movie actor at a film academy in Vienna.

He's actually not too bad of a Hitler-double, if you look at the pictures.

His haircut is a bit too emo for my taste, but maybe he can visit a hairdresser who can get him einen EXAKT GERADLINIGEN, DEUTSCHEN HAAAARRRSCHNITT !

Well, there actually seems to be a bit of a correlation between the "the government and the mainstream media are lying to us about the Islamization of our country" and "the government and the mainstram media are lying to us who's really responsible for the war in Ukraine (*cough* America *cough*)" crowd.

The common denominator is a distrust against the mainstream establishment opinion which often comes pretty close to adhering to conspiracy theories.
