First election would be 1936. Our centenarian is still alive and votes for the same party today as he did when he voted for Roosevelt or Landon in 1936. Describe two people: the Roosevelt voter who is still a Democrat and the Landon voter who is still a Republican.

Roosevelt voter: a lifelong NYC resident who comes from a working class Jewish family.

Landon voter: A small business owner from the Omaha area.

This is pretty much perfect.

Perhaps I took a different tack on the GOP side:
Republican:  rural East Tennessee doctor/professional
Democratic:  Boston/NYC Jew

My Great-Grandmother (born in Nebraska) would fit this description if she was still alive.

My great-grandmother was born in 1915. She died in 2013 and to my knowledge always voted GOP in presidential elections. I don't think she voted in 2012 since by that point she was bedridden and suffering from dementia.

Most Protestant fundamentalists/evangelicals outside of the South appear to have voted consistently Republican even in 1976.
