They're probably making $10,000 bets to see which primary states will go to each one.

My cousin will be at the meeting, I'll post what I hear from him here once I know. Based on what he's said so far, the meeting was schedule a while ago before romney started talking about running again, and they were going to get rid of the meeting but decided to keep it. Best guess is that they're trying to talk romney out of running.

What an awkward meeting this is going to be. Neither one is going to drop out.

Maybe Romney is just teaching Jeb about the book of Mormon?

Sorry to dissapoint but apparently the meeting was a wash and nothing big happened. However, that probably means that Romney and Jeb are both going to stay in the race for the time being.

They're both washed up and overrated candidates that Hillary and Dems are licking their chops at.

Jeb and Mitt did not talk about the 2016 election. And really, how could they have? This meeting was awkwardly scheduled before Mitt announced.

They agreed Romney would not run but would support Bush, to help him quickly wrap up the nomination, in order to minimize damage that would be done by nut jobs like Santorum and Paul.

Devils30 it must be so comfy to be wrapped in your Hillary bubble, her election is so not wrapped up, trying to keep the White House for a third time in a row, is anything from difficult to nigh impossible,  last time a party held the White House for a third election in a row was in 1988, when Reagan handed off to George H.W. Bush, and one thing for sure, Obama is no Ronald Reagan, he is an ultra liberal left wing socialist hack, who has gone beyond his sell by date. Hillary is basically been forced in to a no win situation, to adhere to Obama's leftist agenda, by Obama's state of the union address, and she's not skewered by the speech to adhering to that agenda, she will be required to give Obama's constituency to why not. They could just as well sit on their hands during the election.  Also if you don't think Obama hasn't screwed her up the a#$ watch this space,  then of course you have the Benghazi dynamic, Bill's post presidential activities,  yup I can see why you Democrats are literally licking your chops at the potential of a Romney or Bush candidacy, seem to forget the messiah has tripled the national debt, doing more damage than all his 43 predecessor's combined.  There is a record to defend or run away from and the G.O.P. are gonna wrap it neatly around Hillary's neck and send her keester back to Chappaqua or how ever they spell it or maybe Arkansas.
Whatever. Most Americans are fed up with the Obama-Democratic clown car & want less of the psycho drama and a bit more normality.
So lock your chops by all means, get you in practice for those lean years. Another thing, you heard about the hare and the turtle? I suggest you check it out. So damn sure you got the 2016 election in the bag, don't you? calling President Dewey! ☺

Again, far be it from people who thought Romney would win in a landslide to talk about bubbles...

More amusing is Republicans who think the election is theirs for the taking because of "muh bad Obama approval rating". Except for one thing, it's not even bad anymore. See the latest polls? Secondly, McCain still led Obama at certain points in 08 even when Bush's approval was ~25%, so it's clearly not as impactful as you guys like to pretend.
