At least Ford voted against the '91 Gulf War. Unlike today's Senate duo from Kentucky, Ford actually took pro-Kentucky positions.

A true friend of the people. We wouldn't be having very many problems if we had senators like him, Byrd, Specter, and Lugar in office rather than our merry crew of bomb throwing partisans.
