Then he'd just be spending his parents' money on E-meter readings and various retreats. Though if he moved into one of their compounds and basically became their indentured servant, he wouldn't have to worry about looking for a job and his room and board would be taken care of - and he'd probably lose a lot of weight.

Indeed, cults often prey on intelligent individuals. They typically have more £££ and often have a tendency to feel bored and restless.

I imagine if Bushie's life was to severely change or deteriorate - his parents cutting him off or being unable to support his lifestyle, he could do something drastic like join a cult or become a juggalo or something like that. That said Bushie seems very content with his current life goal of "moving to Kenya". Quite frankly, I think that joining a cult would be way to much effort for a him in his current state.
