It's a pretty cool looking building. But I assume they had to bulldoze some sites of historical/religious significance to build it, so that sucks.

Yes, a historic Ottoman fortress. Not quite as egregious as some of the other Meccan sites that have been destroyed under the Saudi regime, but still pretty bad. HB.

Horrible Building. I hate buildings that tower over the skyline around them, and it's pretty tacky too.
