She wouldn't become the nominee.
But it would make sense for her to run. There is likely to be a shortage of women on the debate stage. There is a limited number of book club candidates running mainly to increase their profiles. And it would get her in the news a lot. And then she can later be described as a former 2016 candidate, rather than 2008 running mate.
Apparently she wanted to run in 2012, but didn't realize that an actual campaign requires a lot of prep work when it comes to qualifying for the various state primaries. She might have learned to handle it a little better now.
