I've voted in 8 general elections (2000-2014) and I voted for the winner 5 of those 8 times

What would be considered the "top of the ballot" in midterm years?

Anyway, I voted for one presidential loser (Romney in 2012), two Senate losers (Hoekstra in 2012 and Land in 2014), and one gubernatorial winner (Snyder in 2014.)

For Michigan it's probably Governor in mid term years. You'd know better then I.
