Anyway, I saw bits and pieces of the speeches by Cruz, Christie, and Huckabee.  I have to say, I still think Christie is really good at the "speaking somewhat like a normal person rather than a politician" and winning the "would like to have a beer with him" contest.  Despite his troubles, I would still not want to write him off as a major player for '16.


I saw Christie's speech as well and I agree. He has more potential than Mitt, maybe more than Jeb.   



I realized who Steve King reminds me of:

Yeah Gilmore is so Bush W. era. I disagreed with  some stuff he had to say. He just seemed so 1998 in his rhetoric at the event this weekend.
