Who is your choice in this most inconsequential of elections?


If the Democrats had been in power in 1929 the Pubs get to govern all though the 30s.

Maybe not.  If Smith had been in the White House, I'm doubtful Smoot-Hawley would have been enacted, so the Great Depression wouldn't have been quite as severe, so maybe the Dems could have regained either the White House in 1936 or Congress in 1938 after losing them in 1932.
