A very, very rare bird. Perhaps an idealistic young progressive who became more traditionally southern when he/she became older, as Wallace was incredibly socially liberal in 1948 (campaigning against segregation) and received a minuscule amount of the vote in the south.

Probably the smallest category that we've had in one of these threads.

Assuming their views didn't change during that 20 years period, this is a hard one. Maybe some white  working class person who distrusts both major parties?
