Difficult list to compile, since he has so many. I'm sure I missed a few.

Being an advocate for gay rights. The rest has very little to do with Barack Obama.

The Zinger is the correct answer.

I don't ever believe the president is responsible for like half of these.

This is actually my favorite.

Killing OBL was sweet too, it was totally unexpected.

Passing the Affordable Care Act over the filibuster he doesn't get enough credit for because of how controversial the law's been. But solely getting 60 senators to agree unanimously on a massive bill is quite an achievement (he did the right thing by letting Congress take the lead). It shows our system of government can still function and get big things done.

But yeah, the fact that he has run a pretty clean administration so far is underrated.

Fantastic list you've compiled here! He truly is a great, great man. I'm gonna be such an emotional wreck on Clinton's inauguration day in two years when his term ends.

Some of these things literally failed to happen ("ending the war in Iraq" is like saying the war in Afghanistan ended when the Sovs pulled out in 1988; ISIS's offensive has been stalled, but they haven't been pushed back); some have little to do with him (there are SCOTUS rulings and congressional votes in there; he's in neither body); while others aren't even achievements at all (any references to his speeches; winning the Nobel Peace Prize).

But, with that said, while not particularly significant in the long run, killing Usama bin Ladin was a very sweet American triumph, and can be fairly credited to our President. So I went with that.

Ending Iraq and not escalating it for vanity sake like he easily could have, and sad to say it...but pretty much any other candidate would've done (okay okay maybe not John Edwards...but c'mon he never really made it).

Ending Afghanistan is a close second, but that one wasn't a completely useless quagmire based on a lie...so...

Everything else can be better attributed to someone else, shouldn' really be considered an accomplishment, or in the case of healthcare was just half-hearted.

Why is giving guns to deadly gangs not a serious scandal? Is it because no one had sex?

While his Presidential time is over, his retirement will mean plenty of free time for internet browsing. Perhaps one day he will stumble on The U.S. Election Atlas, purchase it from Dave Leip, and becoming our new Forum Administrator.

There are still two more years - we have time for some more goodies! Sadly it seems that arms reduction won't be one of them. Hopefully he will complete his goal of closing Guantanamo as well. Those two actions, in conjunction with his foreign policy, response to the economic crisis, climate actions and healthcare, would make him a personal top ten President.

(Obviously the US is set with other problems - housing, institutional poverty, inequality, college fees, the shadow state etc. But how much can one man do?)
