"The simple fact of September 11 is this, we did not know an attack was coming because for nearly a decade, our government had blinded itself to its enemies."

Ashcroft is HANDS DOWN my least favorite member of this administration.  And that is saying alot, because I have a great disliking for many members of the Bush admin.

Obviously Clinton should be prosecuted and sentenced to death to the murder of 3,000 innocent civilians... and Vince Foster.

Ashcroft is the greatest Attorney General in our history, and the best member of this administration.  That said, he is way out of line here.

It is not fair to blame Clinton for 9/11 because no one thought about terrorism in the terms we do now after 9/11.  It is apples and oranges and my boy Ashcroft should know better.

This is absurd. When a little girl is kidnapped do we blame the father or the kidnapper(Assuming its not the same person)? Same situation here. Its the terrorists we must blame. That being said pre-911 BOTH administrations didnt do enough.
