Graham isn't running, Grayson sounds like he'd compete with Murphy in a primary. Murphy says he's considering, but it's a big leap. Floridians, do you think Grayson and Murphy would both run in the primary?

I wouldn't be surprised if Grayson ran only after Murphy declares.

Is he trying to pull a "Bernie Sanders against Hillary Clinton" move? I don't get the point of Grayson jumping in.

Grayson, just be happy with the fact that you managed to nab a safe House seat and be happy.

I wouldn't call his house seat completely safe.  I could see being ousted in primary in 2018 or 2020 by a good Hispanic candidate.

Could be, but he has to realize his chances of staying employed (somewhere) in Congress remain FAR better staying in his house seat than running for Rubio's seat next year.

Grayson is an egomaniac. He'll do what is best for Alan Grayson.

The Florida Democratic Party? Having an actual competitive primary for a (non-South FL) House seat?

Anyways, Grayson would relish the chance to run against someone reliant largely on contributions from major banks and who sits on the finance committee - good line of attack, and one that builds up his image (especially in 2016 with a Hillary primary against someone like Sanders or Warren).

Grayson would not win the primary. Florida Dems primary voters are mainly moderate northeastern retirees and nothing suggests Murphy can't get a large chunk of the Hispanic and black vote as well.

DWS/Murphy primary? Heh... Pubs would get to knock off both. Hopefully DWS runs and is the nominee.

This is becoming a joke DWS and Grayson's egos are too big for them to realize neither of them have a chance. The party needs to coalesce behind to Murphy and not scare him away with this nonsense. If DWS runs I hope she loses in a landslide for pushing Murphy away.
