I still support him. I entrust he will get a fair trial, but innocent until proven guilty.
He wouldn't be getting a Court Martial if the military wasn't more than 99% sure he is guilty of what they are accusing him of.  If they were only 80% sure they'd just discharge him with a Less Than Honorable/Dishonorable and try to forget the entire mess.

Not even talking about that. The idea of sending an American back into the hands of the Taliban, even in jest, is beyond the pale.

It was a prisoner swap. It never should have happened, he should still be there and we should still be holding 5 terrorists. Releasing them was beyond the pale.

That's done. It's over. Disagree with it all you want. You're not supporting the idea of not bringing him home (already pretty despicable), but of sending him back (like, amoral level despicable).
