I pulled or tore a muscle in my foot and can barely walk and now my back is very upset about the whole ordeal.  Ibuprofen is a god but I'm afraid I might have to go begging the doc for some muscle relaxers and ace bandages at this point.

Another freedom day -- an unveiling of two new videos from my marketing team, a solid meeting with a potential partner company, a productive root-cause / counter-measures meeting and lunch with our VP of Operations, a productive planning call with my senior sales manager, a customer planning meeting with another sales person in California and a solid end to the day with my new boss, finalizing our annual budget. My partner and I had some light shopping on Country Club Plaza in KC and had a nice dinner with drinks at an oyster bar.

Had a nice dinner with a friend.  But otherwise not a freedom day.  Spent most of it getting estimates on repairing a crack in a house foundation that caused basement flooding last weekend and then struggling with co-workers who are seriously considering an absurdly stupid course of action.

It was mixed.  I got really frustrated with a game and wound up breaking one of my PS3 controllers.  On the other hand, I'm chillin with some good friends right now so it's all good.

2/1/2015: FD. My brothers were home, and my two great aunts and their husbands are down from VA and PA respectively, which was nice. I finished a lengthy paper on Faulkner's "A Rose For Emily" and had a good lunch.
