There'll be low turnout in D2, there are a few reasons for this:

1. PBrunsel is unopposed and therefore there's been nothing of a GOTV drive, nor are people rushing to the polls to see their candidate across the line.
2. Naso basically got a load of inactives to vote last time, many of whom would otherwise been deleted. This basically has created a dead district effect where only about half (or less) of the electorate are active enough to knows there an election.

What is the current turnout in the Pacific?

Here's how it goes District-wise:

District 1:  32.1%
District 2:  10.0%
District 3:  35.7%
District 4:  34.6%
District 5:  50.0%

Discuss the elections here instead of the voting booth.

I understand completely if you didn’t want to vote for me…  But why BRTD?!?  Am I really that bad?

I’m sorry to be the one to inform you that your vote won’t count, according to Section II, Article I, Clause IV:

“The election will be held by instant runoff voting (IRV).  No write-in candidates will be accepted.  You must preference all candidates.  If both of those provisions are violated, the ballot will be considered spoiled and will be thrown out.  If only one of them is, the ballot will be placed aside in case of a tie.”

I’m not sure what will happen to your vote on the propositions.  The amendment that I wrote (which is on the ballot this election) will give you back your right to write-in.
I didn't write in BRTD because i want him as governor, i did it simply to point out the bad law.
as long as my referenda votes count we won't have any lawsuits.

Ditto. Nobody should be counting any chickens like in the Guberntorial race.

New England is notoriously dead with regard to voter activity.  The addition of New York to the district has provided some more active voters, but a lot of New Yorkers are moderates, and hence more likely to be members of the Union or Freedom parties.  There are no "Democrats" in fantasy politics, that party died due to scandals.

Why would you vote?

Why do people who don't follow politics in general vote??  To Participate.  Also the fact that I saw Nixon running I& he is way to the right, I decided to vote for the lesser of two evils in my opinon.

Phil, are you on the case of Patrick1? He's just as inactive here on Smash is, but since he voted for NixonNow, you have no problem with him.

They kind of cancel each other out.

Well then he shouldn't talk about either, or complain about both equally.

Interestingly, both Patrick1 and Smash255 are regsitered with defunct parties (Republicans and Democrats respectively), if either actually followed fantasy politics at all, they would undoubtedly have re-registered by now. This is in stark contrast to somebody like 9iron, who whilst not participating heavily, clearly does follow this because he changed his registration to ACA almost immediately.

EDIT:
Curiously, Jens (Rhode Island) is also a member of a defunct party, i.e. the United Left.

Phil, would you stop trying to start fights? Everyone time I turn around you are putting your dukes up about ready to scrape. Smiley

Every election is the same thing for you anyway. Inactive baiting. Worse than Red baiting was in the '50s.

No here's the deal: Smash comes on and says "Oh I don't know what's going on." That's the difference. And PBrunsel, stop telling me that everytime I say something I'm starting a fight.

Also, King described Smash as a "leftist troll" yet accepts his vote. Interesting.

What do you mean "accepts his vote"? Last I checked, candidates can't restrict people from voting for them, the vote goes in their column like it or not.

King told me that he would not go after Smash's vote. I'm not saying he did but he seems to have no problem with it.

Jens' vote will be invalid due to the fact of him being 5 posts short of the 25 needed between each election.
