That's the definition of a win-win right there. Granted, there's others like Franks and Arpaio who are even more incompetent than Salmon is, but Salmon (or McCain if he survives) could easily jeopardize this seat with the right Democrat and right climate.

Kirkpatrick, Sinema, Giffords, Carmona, Stanton and Gordon are all good options.

Napolitano needs to be avoided though. She destroyed her image and she apparently doesn't even reside in Arizona anymore.

Can Napolitano even run? She's the President of the UC system and therefore is probably living in California.
It turns out, no, actually. I guess Arizona has a law that states you need to be a resident of the state for five years before running for elected office. This happened to Frank Riggs.

I guess she can be crossed off the list then! Cheesy

State Senator Kelli Ward forms an exploratory committee to run in 2016. Given the unlikelihood Salmon or Schweikert run and since Ward is a crazy right-wing sociopath, Run Kelli Run! Tongue

She has issues on both sides. For example, she voted against Pelosi, has a tough record on immigration and is starting to move toward the center which has slightly angered progressives, while conservatives would hit her over self-identifying as a socialist before and her past liberal voting record.
