Opinion of burning the other team's country's flag at football games

Since it's well known how much the Serbs and Croats love to do this to the other country's flag if they ever play each other (and sometimes not even then)...Approve, because flag burning is a stupid thing to be offended by anyway and I tend to basically just approve of anything that offends stupid and simplistic "OMG NATIONALISM" sentiment.

Haha, no. If I were British I'd be saying the exact same stuff I do about US patriotism and all that. I just hate the Scottish nationalists and Irish republicans a lot more.

It could be said that I'm "stateist" and "cityist" though. After all I have a shirt with an outline of Minnesota on it and one that says Minneapolis above a graphic of one of our most famous landmarks (both from Ingress of course), I would never wear some sort of patriotic shirt though.

This is first and foremost a private website with an international profile and Dave has never indicated that he specifically wants people to use American terminology (or spelling for that matter). I doubt he cares about that.

     And we Americans do not refer to soccer as "football", so there is nothing wrong with us lambasting one of our own over that. Brits don't go out and call it soccer.
