MA: Confirmation of MadmanMotley for Lieutenant Governor (Confirmed)

Governor TDAS04 is appointing MadmanMotley to the position of Lt. Governor. If there are no objections a vote to confirm will begin after 48 hours. Until then the Governor and MadmanMotley may address what questions Assembly members and Mideast citizens have about the appointment.

To start off, here are my questions:
For MadmanMotley: What would be your goal as Lt. Governor? Also what are your thoughts on the leave of former governor Tmthforu94?
For TDAS04: Why did you choose MadmanMotley to appoint to the position of Lt. Governor?

I will likely oppose this appointment. Mideast voters have already indicated they did not want Mr. Motley to hold elected office, when he lost the election.

To start off, here are my questions:
For MadmanMotley: What would be your goal as Lt. Governor? Also what are your thoughts on the leave of former governor Tmthforu94?

My ultimate goal is to preserve unity among the Mideast, and to continue Tmthforu94's legacy. I would also like to add a voice that was lost when Tmthforu94 resigned, a voice that represents the Mideast's large number of Federalist/Democratic-Republican constituents. 

I am honestly sad to see Tmthforu94 go, he was an excellent Lieutenant-Governor when I worked with him in the assembly, and was a consensus maker. The whole situation that was thrown at him was ridiculous, and I think that after all this time Tmthforu94 finally had enough. I would have liked to have seen him fulfill his term, as I believe he would have made a truly great governor.

For TDAS04: Why did you choose MadmanMotley to appoint to the position of Lt. Governor?

Motley is a committed public servant, and shares my commitment in working together to revive the Mideast.  While we have some disagreements on policy, I believe in continuing my predecessor's legacy of reaching across the aisle.  The Mideast citizens voted for a bipartisan administration when they elected Tmth and me, and the administration shall remain a bipartisan representation of the diverse viewpoints of the Mideast.  This spirit of cooperation is what will make the Mideast stronger.
