Only been to Florida Panhandle; horribly hot and humid, tourists are annoying. But those beaches... Florida Panhandle.

I'm only an hour from the NW Arkansas Border along Hwy 412.  Eureka Springs is a great destination for tourists, especially Christians like me.  I like NE Oklahoma, so I know I would like NW Arkansas and SW Missouri.

Yea, the panhandle has the beach.  I can't even imagine being stuck in the middle of Arkansas.  And go where?  Branson?

The panhandle would have easier access to a large body of shark invested water to drown myself in.

Why is this place a mecca for Christians like you?

It has what's called the "Passion Play".  The Passion Play re-enacts the last week of Jesus's life on earth between His triumphal entry into Jerusalem and His death, burial, and resurrection.  It's been a long time since I've been there, but I think it may re-enact his ascension into heaven as described in the Bible book of Acts in chapter 1.  It is performed by live actors in a big open outdoor amphitheater.  Along the street that the play is on are a bunch of Christian gift shops and such.

They still allow Christians to get away with that obvious Jew-baiting?  Spooky stuff out there in the sticks.

Here is a link to the Passion Play and it confirms that it does include the ascension:

It describes everything how it happened historically.  Like the link says it does it's best to be Biblically accurate.  Now, no modern play is going to be 100% accurate, but they strive to get as close as they can.  It really is a great evangelism tool.  I've heard many stories of people giving their lives to Jesus Christ as a result of the play.  It truly is a great ministry in the Ozarks.

I wasn't aware that anybody under the age of seventy considered what's performed in Branson to constitute 'music'.

Bushie is our resident senior citizen, after all.

How long did you hold up the line at the bank today for absolutely no reason, Bushie?
