Kasich/Baker, Kasich/Rauner, or Kasich/Hogan.

Jeb Bush - Marco Rubio.  That would be the best ticket and very tough for Hillary Clinton to beat.

Christie/Bolton...especially if the foriegn policy climate is skewing away from non-interventionism.

Walker/Christie.

I know people seem averse to Christie in the 2 slot because of his big personality but if he fixes his image back into someone who gets things done, he'd be fantastic. Some people view the Veep as the guy who actually runs the Senate (above and beyond reality), and it'll be like he's shoving sense into a broken system.

Christie on top would struggle electorally. Huck wouldn't be too bad as #2 either but some of these recent quotes are concerning. He'd be a risk just to gotv of the base. I'd hope Christie would be enough despite his general hatred from that group atm. I'd like to believe they'd come out for him like Bushie would, but they are a lot more opinionated and unwilling to compromise on like two words of the Bible while ignoring the rest.

Kasich and Martinez definitely good options but I don't know if they are exciting enough with Walker on top. 2 midwesterns in Kasich's case? Christie and Walker are the star power govs (for different reasons). They'd compliment each other well.

I don't see Rubio, Ayotte or especially Portman getting picked with tough reelections coming up. Huntsman doesn't help Walker. Neither does TPaw even if his career wasn't over. Ryan and Rand almost certainly can't.

There's no one else I have a serious desire to see on a national ticket.

Something like Sandoval/Walker would be my ideal ticket.

I'd go with either Walker/Rubio or Walker/Ayotte.

Eisenhower would be seen as a communist by today's GOP.

The Pub Field of Dreams is rather fallow at the moment. Ditto the Dem one. But Bush/Kasich seems on paper at the moment to be the strongest one in a General Election. It all depends on whether Jeb can stay disciplined, and energetic (he seems a bit enervated to me at the moment), and overcome the Bush legacy. It's all idle speculation at the moment. Hillary's scrubbed emails however seem to have leveled the playing field for the moment, dreamless as it may be.
