I've moved on to Walker though the Mitt anouncement creates the major opening for Paul. Walker could legitimately carry the Iowa momentum through NH, SC, and NV. Paul will be a threat in at least two of those (particularly Nevada) but if he can outlast Paul/Christie in NH and Jeb/token SoCon in SC, I really think he's got this. Big if, but no one has a better opening than that. I thought Paul was going to do well in Iowa, but I think there's obvious movement toward Walker. It'd be nice to have Ryan's help. Will mitt choose between christie, walker and bush?

As for why not Jeb, I just don't see him having an advantage anywhere early. SoCons will turn on him in Iowa. NH has got a northeasterner and libertarian plus the broad appealing Iowa winner in the front of their minds. Too much lost momentum heading into SC.

Voted Walker since the start, and definitely no point in switching now.

Since Mitt's out, I'll go with Scott Walker.

I voted for Walker, but I'm very uncertain at this point.

Close between Walker or Bush, but I voted Walker. Paul in a not so distant third.

Bush, as the moneyed interests are around him for the most part. If Bush can't successfully outmaneuver the rest of the field and/or Walker continues to be seen as formidable, I may revise my opinion in the future.

Literally this.  I keep switching between Bush and Walker.

Definitely Walker, I doubt that Jeb would get very far since he might have all the money in the world but very little grassroots support. I think that W is still a pretty unpopular president even within the GOP and the idea of another Bush isn't going to sit well. He might pull off a narrow phyric home state victory, but drop out shortly after at which point it'll be a three way battle with Christie, Walker and Paul and Walker as the candidate with the widest interparty appeal out of those three coming out on top.

Paul. If I hadn't seen that foreign policy interview, Walker, but that will be a consistent problem with him.

You don't think he's going to make adjustments from that? He can easily just agree with Obama or say something slightly more aggressive if he must in the GOP primary that doesn't include boots on the ground. It just starts with his team making a concrete plan. He is the only true establishment principled economic conservative. He's appealing to SoCons. As long as he doesn't come off as Santorum or GWB-esque on foreign policy, he will be safe for the GE. And he can be the middle path between Paul and Bush (or Graham/other neo-con joke candidates). Republicans don't know what they want on foreign policy except for the hyper-militaristic south. He could appeal just enough to all by being in between if he takes a stand.

After months of voting for Christie...Walker.

But this is still as open a field as any in a long time.

I think he'll make adjustments, but right now I'm not sure if those changes will mean just a change in position or becoming more articulate in foreign policy issues, and it has to be the second rather than the first because otherwise, I mean, the field is fierce, they'll get anything they can get their hands on.

Does Scott Walker have a back problem that the public doesn't know about?

Been thinking Walker for a year now. Though I see some vulnerabilities for the General, I think he has the formula for this nomination.
