Are we talking about games, about TV shows, or about the franchises as a whole? The poll title is rather misleading in light of the point you're obviously trying to make.

Well as a whole but that'd be mostly the games. I never liked the TV show for either (my brother watched both and I found them both painful)

My comments were specifically about the TV shows. The Pokemon show is a worthless merchandising vehicle. Digimon, like it or not, had real effort and creativity put into it.

Pokemon has the better games, Digimon has the better show.

The show left a bigger impact than the games ever did for me.

Digimon is obviously the superior anime. I've never played any of the Digimon games, so I can't comment on how they compare to Pokemon.

Were there some guys that seriously watched the Pokémon Anime?

Still, the Pokémon games were so great they beat Digimon on every level, period.

Pokémon overall.

I was between 8-10 when the Pokémon fad was in full swing (1999-2001), loved both the games and TV show, along with the movies and merchandise. Haven't played any of the new games in years, but I still love the Kanto/Johto games.

I could never really get into Digimon back in the day (came on TV over my way when I was 10), despite my best efforts, and have never really had the incentive to re-visit it, unlike Pokémon.

I was about the same age range and I waged war on the franchise and despised. I got into anime in 2005 with the 2003 Fullmetal Alchmist reruns on Adult Swim. Recently, I have dropped my negative outlook and have begun to watch episodes of the Pokémon either to confirm my previous negative opinion or see if I was missing out on something good.
