Why not?

For me it was my great-grandmother who was born during the Taft administration (1912).  Though when I was born there was still a great-great-aunt born in 1899 when McKinley was President.  As of now I believe my oldest living relative was born in 1935.  The oldest person I know lives in the UK and was born during the Coolidge administration.

Mom: Reagan (1987)
Dad: Reagan (1988)
Stepdad: Reagan (1985)
Stepmom: Clinton (1993)

Your parents are 26 but you're 21ish?

I think those years are when his parents turned 18.

My great grandmother was born in 1910 and died when I was 5, so Taft. My current oldest living relative was born in 1936.

I voted for the wrong choice.  I should have voted for Chester Arthur instead of Grover Cleveland.

My Great Grandfather (Dad's Grandpa) was born in 1884 at the very end of the Arthur administration.  I voted like he was born in 1885, which would have likely been Grover Cleveland's first term.  He died when I was three years old in 1985 very close to the age of 101.

After him, the oldest relative I had a good relationship with was born under Teddy Roosevelt.  She was my Maternal Grandpa's Aunt.  She died on July 4, 2001 at the very beginning of George W. Bush.

Theodore Roosevelt (my great-grandfather, 1908). Quite surprisingly, his wife (my great-grandmother) is still alive today (but she is quite younger, born under Coolidge).

Why? This poll may be stupid, but it is measuring a fact. No need to interpret things.

Grandmother Hebert, my great grandmother, died in her nineties during the nineties. I don't know her birth year but I'd guess Roosevelt.

Don't you mean Benjamin Harrison?

Because the oldest I knew was my great-grandmother born in 1892.

JFK for my dad (1963) and Nixon for my mom (1969).

Exactly the same.

My maternal grandfather was born in 1902 and had children very late, but was still around when I was a kid. TR was president when he was born.

But the first president I was old enough to vote for was Clinton.

It hasn't happened yet, but barring something awful happening it'll be Obama.
