Who on Atlas would ever say FF? This just seems like a very pandering query.

Do they even realize that Putin is a right-winger who would probably be a shoo-in for governor of Texas?

Atlas is full of Putin apologists. Go read any thread about the Ukraine conflict. Or the many posts regurgitating Russia Today propaganda about Svoboda and Right Sector (two far right parties which hold a grand total of 8 out of 450 seats in the Ukrainian parliament but utterly dominate the government if Russia state media and True Leftists are to be believed.)

Lol

If anything Atlas is full of pro-US propagandists, because you know, Obama is all about "spreading freedom" and not totally interested in Ukraine because it's sitting of sh#tloads of natural gas. The liberal dunces who uncritically repeat state department propaganda would be up in arms about American involvement in Ukraine if it were John McCain or Mitt Romney pulling the strings there.

What does that have to do with how many seats Svoboda and Right Sector actually hold?

The rhetoric of even the "moderate" parties such as People's Front is disgustingly xenophobic.

HP - though I'm also somewhat concerned by how a lot of folk look at issues pertaining to Russia in a black/white sort of way.

That's a very good point, of course with the situation right now, it's unavoidable and I feel it would be a mistake to back down first. The question is whether we can return to more neutral and objective view on Russia when the crisis is over.

Even if this is true, how exactly is that any worse than condemning "Western imperialism" while praising "Eastern imperialism" and regurgitating Kremlin propaganda?

What about rejecting both Washington's and Moscow's imperialism?

Doesn't exist, surely? Apart from maybe Snowstalker who appears more pro-Russia in comparison to the rest of us.

Of course, if it did, HP.
