Inspired by a recent post in Season 20 of Update. One of the main beliefs of Update superfans is that Update has unquestionably been a force for good in Bushie's life, in large part because the forum saved him from likely going to prison. But would Bushie have been better off spending the last four years in prison instead of wasting away and leaching off his family as a free man?

Undoubtably (source of inspiration).

Bushie clearly would not be. Whether Papa and Mama Bushie would be remains undetermined.

Really? They've shelled out about $50K in the last several years easy.  Papa's working til he's 90 as it is.

Bushie apparently isn't the only person who has fallen for on-company! Scroll down:

For comparison, this is the link that I posted on 7/23/10:

True, but how much in bail $$ and lawyers fees would they have had to shell out?

Nagas couldn't really have summarized it any better:

Bushie and Co would probably be better off if he had completely undertaken and been jailed in the On-Company scam, or any thereafter.

Put into a situation where he can't burn money/rack up debt, he and especially 80-year old Papa have massively less expenditures (and maybe Papa can finally retire Cry) Prison food (contrary to what Bushie thinks, is not just bread and water) will be more nutritious than his current diet and cause him to lose weight. The African children, and children all over Oklahoma, will be protected from being 'loved-on' by a man with a pedophile mustache. JJ/Blondie can finally rest in piece knowing justice has been wrought for the abuse suffered in the Oklahoma heat.

Overall Bushie and his family would be better off, but let's not forget that Papa Bushie would still need to send him hundreds a month for prison commissary.
