Which term is more Atlas?

When you type both into google, Atlas Forum is the first thing to pop up for both. This forum has its own isolated terms.

I think I'll go with true leftist.

True leftist can be found in plenty of places among the left.

But there are other terms used for fake centrists, if such is recognized (I personally prefer RationalWiki's term "Centrist stupidity" myself, but that's no good for most discourse here)

     I don't know about True Leftist, but Moderate Hero was coined on this very forum, by our own WalterMitty. That has to count for a lot.

In this thread the old-timers seem to agree that "moderate hero" was coined by Tweed.

At any rate, it is an excellent term for a real phenomenon, not only on the forum but in Washington.

Moderate Hero was definitely coined by Tweed. This is the first usage of it on the forum:

yeah, that is pretty gross.  thankfully Ben doesn't actually believe it and instead is just trying to appear "moderate" and "pragmatic."  there was a time when I wasn't much different.  maybe in a few years he'll evolve into a cynical nihilist.

I don't believe Gore lost the election?  In a democracy, sometimes you lose a close race; you don't then spend the next 8 years whining about how the election was stolen; you try and win the next time.

I don't really want to psychoanalyze you, as appealing at that sounds.  but you just show far too many of the signs.  you want to be respected.  you want to be a USElectionAtlas Moderate Hero just like Gabu, Joe Republic, and some other blowhards.

Moderate Hero is an amazing phrase. It should be popularized in mainstream discourse.

I love the phrase Moderate Hero. True Leftist I have seen plenty of times outside of this forum but MH is rather unique.

Obviously Moderate Hero as True Leftist isn't that uncommon among political forums.

Also both are great terms.

I remember reading in one thread (I think it was morden, which would make sense) that waltermitty also coined (normal) and was the first person to do the FF/HP poll.
