Horrible show/Freedom Theory

The laugh track is annoyingly loud, as if every joke is hysterical.

Not to mention the fact that the whole show is predicated on making fun of the 4 scientists, the audience seems to be laughing at them, not with them.

I wish TBS would stop airing so many reruns, sometimes for 3 hours straight!

Undoubtedly one of the most unfortunate shows to ever air on TV. Freedom occurrence tho.

Being stuck in MO when the rapture comes is going to suck.  If being gay wasn't bad enough, being a non-religious is just over the top.  Wink

I feel about BBT like I do about Futurama...it's one of the few shows I can always stand watching if there's nothing else going on.  It's mildly funny, has characters that are endearingly predictable...it's got a good formula.

The scientific theory...freedom theory though we'll likely find things are a bit different than what we assume now and the big bang might not look much like what we think.  But it is, so far, the best fit theory given observations and evidence.

How do you reconcile your faith with the big bang theory?  Not that i think it would be hard for you, but just wondering.

And freedom theory/WORST SHOW EVER obviously.

Futurama is massively superior to BBT.

You do know the big bang theory was first proposed by a Catholic priest right?  I may not be Catholic but accepting it should be no problem for any non-Young Earth Creationist Christian.

I'm aware.  That also has nothing to do with how millions of non-Catholics interpret the Bibel or how the text seems to strongly suggest a geocentric universe before which something existed.  To be sure, friend, most of my Christian friends have a tough time accepting the Big Bang.

I believe in the Big Bang in the context of creationism. In other words, it happened, just at the snap of God's fingertips. I don't care enough about the issue to debate it, though.

There is no issue with that in the context of the theory. The theory itself makes no claim as to how the conditions under which the Big Bang happened came to exist and there is nothing close to consensus on it in the scientific community. While the historical occurrence of the Big Bang is not seriously disputed at this point, "God did it" has no less validity than any other hypothesis.

Freedom show/Freedom theory

Bushie's gem of "Biblical truth" earns a spot of hilarity in my signature.
