Oddly enough for two very different Republicans - one highly educated and the other... from Oklahoma - Bushie is vaguely pro-SSM, and Muon voted against it in the IL House.

For the sake of accuracy, unlike Bushie allegedly, Muon2 is pro-SSM, not just "vaguely pro-SSM." He voted against it the first round due to its potential failure in his judgment to comport with the Constitution with respect to religious exceptions involving the venues of/mandatory enmeshment in, gay wedding ceremonies, and the second time, he was undecided based on the same concerns, and out of town when the vote occurred. Muon2 and myself discussed these issues at length together, including on the telephone.
