[PLA]I propose the following policy plank.

'The Labor Party hereby stands in solidarity with the Kurds who are fighting against Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. We hope that in the aftermath of the fighting an independent kurdish state can be set up, which will provide safety and security for all the Kurdish people in the Middle East who have been denied the fundamental right of statehood'

I feel that as the motion is being discussed in the senate, and hopefully soon in the Northeast Assembly it's vital that the party show their support

[PLA] I support Comrade-Representative Blair's proposed policy plank! The Kurdish people are true freedom fighters in that region, and we should give them the fullest possible support.

I support the proposed plank as well. Vice Chairman bore is responsible for developing the platform and presenting it to us, so I hope that he'll include it for our approval.

[OTH] I kept sitting here, wondering what was missing from this convention. Certainly some tradition must be absent?

Then I realized. You're welcome.

I'm hoping the radical gay agenda will be very visible here this week. I'm still concerned about the lack of it in Atlasia day to day.

I believe I have tracked down the source of all of our problems:

Well yes, the Era was a good time to be gay in Atlasia. I miss the gay parties and our open gay borders from months ago Sad

[PLA] I, likewise, support Comrade Blair's motion. I will, however, offer an amendment shortly to revise some of the language.

Well, if that implies a cyclical Gay agenda, we should see a glorious resurgence in a few months - regardless of Napoleon. Cheesy

[PLA] I move the following amendment to Comrade Blair's motion:

Quote

I refuse to recognize the name that these barbaric murders have chosen for themselves which (1) offends any person of Muslim faith, identity, or heritage, and (2) lends credence to these butchers' claims of statehood.

The rest of the amendments are of a purely literary nature and seeks to highlight our solidarity with the Kurds in combating Daesh with our support for statehood separately.

Fully support it. Clears up my bad wording!

We should probably vote on endorsements and such, yes? As well as a vote on whether or not to adopt the motion co-written by Comrades Blair and Barnes?

There seems to have been a drop-off from the Politburo, but seeing as we're running Labor candidates in all but two races, it's not that crucial.

The only two races where we aren't giving an automatic endorsement are the Pacific and Southeast senate races, respectively.  Of course, in the Pacific, Cranberry is running unopposed; that just leaves the South and the Yankee vs. Hagrid race.

A vote on endorsements for IDS and Pacific Senate would be held if a candidate from either race asked for the endorsement and a member of Labor second the motion to endorse them.

I would like to urge the Convention and the Party to publicly and officially express support for and solidarity with the striking farm workers in the Pacific. Unfortunately, the forces of reaction are once again up to their anti-democratic dirty tricks, and with the poor economy of the Pacific region and the lack of relief from the right-wing government there, these brave workers are faced with no other choice but to strike. As the only party in Atlasia that has always and will always stand decidedly with the Atlasian Worker, we must support them.
